The Dreamcast was the very first home console to use the internet to distribute expansion content. This is an archive of Download Content for the Sega Dreamcast. Every file here is OFFICIAL expansion download content from the developers, which was distributed via the game homepages. You must connect to the internet with your Dreamcast and browse to this page to download the content. You may use any Dreamcast Browser such as: PlanetWeb, Dreampassport, or Dreamkey. Since XDP is a custom compilation of these browsers, it will work as well. Some of the files you see below will only work with certain region GD-ROM's. Others can be used on any region of the disc. If a file works on another region GD-ROM, feel free to let us know on the Message Boards.

ChuChu Rocket - Character Files

Instructions:
1. Download this file into your VMU.
2. Go back to ChuChu Rocket.
3. Choose the VMU at the Select screen.
4. Go to the Option screen.
5. Select "DOWNLOAD" on character setting.

ChuChu Rocket - Official Puzzle Expansion

Description:
Direct from Sonic Team, it's a pack of all-new ChuChu Rocket puzzles! This is a 75-block file that unpacks into 25 separate three-block puzzle files. This puzzle pack is straight from Japan, so you'll notice the puzzle names are all in Japanese.

Instructions:
1. It will overwrite any current puzzle files you have, so be sure to move your created puzzles onto another VMU.

Dynamite Cop - Detonator Pack

Description:
This download gives you new Gallery art, a new weapon (stun gun) and an all-new playable character.

Instructions:
1. To use the Detonator Pack, simply press the below download link.
2. Then load up your copy of Dynamite Cop, chose the "Options" menu, then "Use Detonator Pack."
3. The Pack will be integrated with your save file, and you'll be ready to rock.
4. To play as Cindy, press Start while selecting Jean on the Character Select Screen.

Phantasy Star Online ver. 1 - Quests

Instructions:
1. Download all of the files for the desired quest to the vmu where your pso save exists, or to another vmu and put in the vmu when you get to the hunter's guild.
2. To play the quest's, set your pso disc to the language option that matches the quest.
3. Go to the counter at the hunter's guild and select 'Download Quest'. The game will auto search for the files and the quest will load.

Rayman 2 - Mini Games

Description:
The following 3 files are new mini-games for Rayman 2. These are not VMU games. They are games that are played on the dreamcast from Rayman 2. One game is a sidescrolling shooter using text letters. Another is a circular shooter where you are fighting enemies eminating from a central point in some sort of spa. Then one is where you are collecting lumes under a certain timelimit by grappling your way up into the sky.

Instructions:
Each file comes up as if it is a gamesave. So go to the load screen to load the mini game and play it.

Shutokou Battle

Instructions:
Save the files to the VMU where your Quest Mode game save data is located. After downloading, please check to see if you can buy any hidden parts or cars, and save the downloaded data by the "SAVE" in the "QUEST MODE" or the "SAVE GAME DATA" in the "OPTION". You will be able to buy any of the hidden parts or cars that are unlocked. However, in order to use the hidden parts or cars, you must actually buy the hidden parts or cars in the "QUEST MODE". After this, you do not need to keep the downloaded data.

Skies of Arcadia

Description:
(2 weapons: Tuna Cutlass and Swirlmirang) - With this download for Skies of Arcadia, you can arm Vyse and Aika with two very interesting secret weapons. You need to find the Mystary Merchant (he appears randomly in some towns' inns), as he has both of the secret weapons for sale.

(Hamachou Island) - Some uncharted areas still remain in the world of Arcadia. With this VMU download, you can unlock an all-new island with a very special surprise...

(Giant Looper ship battle) - As any Skies player can attest, Loopers can be a real pain. How'd you like a shot at the grand daddy of them all? This VMU download will add a new boss Looper to the world map. Happy hunting.

Sonic Adventure 2 - Character Themes

Description:
The color of your "Sonic Adventure 2" menu screen will change, and the new character will talk to you at various points.

Instructions:
1. Save the downloaded theme file to a memory card.
2. From "Options," select "Theme" to display all of the theme files found on the memory cards connected to your Dreamcast.

Sonic Adventure 2 - Holiday Themes

Description:
In the 2P character select screen, you will see our characters dressed up in their costumes which you can play with.

Instructions:
1. Save the downloaded theme file to a memory card.
2. From "Options," select "Theme" to display all of the theme files found on the memory cards connected to your Dreamcast.

Sonic Adventure 2 - Karts

Description (Kart Expansion File):
New Kart model and courses will be added! In addition, the new course can be used in 2P racing game.

Instructions:
Remember, you have to clear the Kart race stage in the Story mode to use the new file.)
1. From the main game menu, select EXTRA, then select DOWNLOAD EVENT.
2. Your Dreamcast will automatically search for the new Kart file and display a new dialogue box.
3. Select the new dialogue box, and press A-button to make it available in the mini-game.
4. Now you will be able to select the new Kart and course from either the 1P or 2P Kart race menus.
5. Only new track data is available now.

Zombie Revenge - Character File

Description:
So you've played through Zombie Revenge a million times and mastered all the moves. Now it's time to test your skills with new characters in the one-on-one Fighting mode. This download features new characters stats for the three main combatants.

Instructions:
To use it, go to the Fighting mode and choose the VMU on the Character Select Screen.

Virtual On Oratorio Tangram - Custom Virtuoids

Description:
Files with the appendix "Ver.ka" are custom Virtuoid Designs by Katoki Hajime. The other 4 without this are from other designers which I could not look up their names. I probobly could, but it would take too long.

Instructions:
To view these designs or edit your own, you need the v5.66 customization disc (insanely rare). Or the Japanese version of Virtual On Oratorio Tangram. To actually play with these designs with any version of VOOT, you need CUST+ developed by Scott Robinson. This can be downloaded here.
