If you want the files to change the background and enable hidden bios. I found them here

Quote:
Here's an update to James' post below (and cross-posted into the other
: Dreamcast related groups).
:
: The mechanism to add your own background image to the DC's BIOS screen has
: been figured out. And in addition to the new background stuff, we also
: now know how to unlock an entire hidden second BIOS menu.
:
: If anyone wants to try out these features, you'll need a way of getting
: files from the Internet to your VMU. If you have a Nexus memory card or
: Double Power or other device like that which connects between your PC and
: VMU, you can download these DCI files:
:
: http://www.rattlebrain.com/~opaopa/EXTRA_BG.DCI is the file to replace
: your background image. It's a pretty big file since I don't have the
: software to compress PVR textures. It's just a swirly logo.
:
: http://www.rattlebrain.com/~opaopa/ICONDATA.DCI is the file to enable the
: hidden BIOS. Press start at the BIOS screen to switch between the original
: and hidden BIOS.
:
: If you don't have one of those nice PC linking devices, you could connect
: to the Internet directly with your DC and point the browser to the
: following VMI files which will download the VMS files directly to your
: VMU:
:
: http://www.rattlebrain.com/~opaopa/EXTRA_BG.VMI is the file to replace
: your background image.
:
: http://www.rattlebrain.com/~opaopa/ICONDATA.VMI is the file to enable the
: hidden BIOS.
:
: Theoretically, if neither of those is an option for you, you could use the
: VMU Tool app and burn it to a CDR with the raw VMS files and get them on
: your VMU that way, but VMU Tool is still an early beta and not very
: user-friendly yet, so I don't think it'd be worth the trouble. This stuff
: is cool, but not quite that cool yet.
:
: A note: The file that enables the hidden BIOS is an ICONDATA_VMS file, so
: it will change the logo of the VMU it's downloaded to (to an orange swirly
: thing in the case of the file I just posted) and it also means the file is
: hidden in the DC's file manager, so means there's no easy way to delete it
: if you tire of it. You'll either have to have batteries in your VMU (who
: does?) and delete it from the VMU's file manager or else you'll have to
: completely reformat your card (or it could be over-written with another
: icon file, I suppose).
:
: If you can, you should totally try this stuff out, it's very cool to see
: your Dreamcast doing something new after all these years and amazing that
: with all the hacking of the Dreamcast that's gone on, we're only now
: finding this stuff out thanks to Sonic Team's kindness in including the
: hints in Puyo Puyo Fever.

yeah gamzor i realised that but the point of the conversation we were having in another post was that you could put your own picture into a certain file format and have it as your background, not just downloading the puyo puyo fever one, check the post i started about a new dreamcast feature, i can download the puyo file no prob, but people are talking about changing the file to create there own backgrounds capish?

I think you need a program called 'The Gimp' or something like that. I am going to download that and try to edit the file I have, and download it again. If this works it will be so awesome.

there is actually 7 seperate background .pvrs that are on the puyo fever game.
i guess i could save each pvr one by one on the vmu, and post them here. as far as editing the background, i actually havent messed around with that yet, so not sure, ill have to try.
