I have not looked into those titles much but im sure since most are common english games (chess) that playing them would be easy. They don't need a isao.net account so many you can play them online outside of Jp.

I was about to buy a DC VS cable online. And then I realized I had no one to use it with. LMAO

The DREAMCAST >>> LINK >>> NIGHT :::

Results >>> where is the link option even on VOOT (((THERE ISN'T ONE)))

F355 DIDN'T WORK >>> PAL VS PAL (X+Y CABLE VS PLAY) both 60hz (50hz would grey out CABLE VS PLAY)

so it didn't work

UKR, it is on VO:OT. It might only be in the Japanese or NTSC versions. It is possible that PAL versions exclude some things (F355 works fine for me).

no mate didn't come out over here

we both had the same versions of each game..

VOOT JAP

Same Dreamcast types we even set everything to defult and no VMU's in the Dreamcast but there is no option for LINK on the JAP version
just says Vs and thats where you pick your character..

Ive played PAL f355 to PAL f355 Link-up and it works, also Pal to NTSCJ f355 and NTSCJ to NTSC U f35 so I think you might have a dodgy cable.

Ive also played VOOT JAP to VOOT USA

Aerodancing also works, but you need the Jap versions

Well then its your Dreamcast then. NONE OF THE REST OF US have a problem, so its something of yours. Simple logic.

Yea best bet is to start swapping out variables. Try the cable with 2 other dreamcasts of friends. I thought you said you have a lot of spare cables for that one event? Try using other discs and other systems and different cables to narrow down what is wrong. Thats the best advice I can give.
