hi,
i have NTSC Q3A and a PAL DC. i downloaded "Dreamcast utopia 1.3" from www.filedonkey.com . this is the files i got: utopia DC bootdisk v1.3.cdi, its RAR file. i extracted it and i came with these files(when i extracted it): a folder called:dreamcast - utopid DC bootdick v1.3 [found via www.filedonkey.com] inside the folder is:utopid dc bootdick v1.3.cdi (it is 4062 KB) here is what i did: the file inside the folder called "utopia dc bootdisk v1.3.cdi" i burned it to disk, i put it into my DC nothin happenes, i clik play, and it sed "please insert game disk" how do i do it (i think i did it wrong, maybe i didnt burn the correct file) Adam. |

Did you use Padus Disc Juggler to burn the disc? It's the essential DC burning utility. Almost all DC games available in irc channels and newsgroups need to be burned with DJ. | |||

Seriously though, it sounds like you just burnt it wrong. Make sure you've got "disc at once" checked, burn it at a low speed (like 2x), and make sure you're using DiscJuggler. I'm sure if you try a couple more times, you'll get it to work. A file of type "CDI" needs to be burned by DiscJuggler (or converted to Nero format and burned with Nero- using cdi2nero). You can't just burn it to a disc without the proper burning software. Good luck. |

oh guys thx man!!
i bet it will work now! i was burning it with nero, at 10x speed, lol EDIT:1 more thing, where do i download diskjuggler? Adam. EDIT:IT WORKS!!i burned it with alcahol 120% and it sed this: type:diskjuggler CDI file. it dected it, so that told me it will work, and now it DUZ!! so u will see me online with Q3A. Adam. |

since when is there a Utopia 1.3? last I heard, the latest was 1.2.
what did they change in the updates from 1.1 to 1.3, since 1.1 is the one I have |

Alcohol 120% is the best all around image burner/creation utility available imho. Too bad I can't burn those Gamecube images  |
