the only thing i can read is connect? all the rest is in japanese
and i have a option of yes or no that i can read,
its obvious aint it,i go on yes.
it says connecting and my dial-up isp number.it stays on that screen 4 about 2.5mins.
then takes me ton a different screen the only thing i can read is connect, yes and no
i click on yes again the same thing happens,
i do it again the same thing happens.
i can do it again and again and just the same thing will happen.i no that my isp DUZ work.

That must be the JP version which you have, as i have it aswell and it cannot be played online outside of Japan.

I bought the PAL version so i could play online.

NTSC is the format used for both the US and Japan, and PAL is European. If the game is in Japanese, then it's a Japanese game.

NTSCJ is japanese and NTSCU is US, the cases say which, but if its a backup, look at the menu like the others said.

yeah get a pal game, f355 rocks. The big races are Tue+Thu@9:00:00pmGMT. The Championship is once a month (tonight as it happens).

I heard copies sometimes lose online capability. You can get F355 here for about £5

Adam, I just stumbled across this link...if you put a lot of effort into it, apparently it IS possible to get the JP version of F355 working outside of Japan. Check it out.

Question
US versions I find of this game do not mention online, only the PAL versions of this game do. Any information would be helpful.

I have both an original NTSC-US version of F355, and also an NTSC-US backup copy for my link cable setup, and both work fine for online racing.

Generally, backup copies of games I see have fully functioning network capabilities. I have a lot of originals and also backups, and I haven't found any of the backups to not work online.
