So a while ago (via this message board) a guy said he was gonna send me a burnt copy of hl and ppa... needless to say... it never happened... so I was just wondering where I could get my filthy pawls on well... just ppa... cause I found hl already... I checked suprnova.org, but couldn't find anything... so perhaps, someone can help me out? thanks for your time. | |||

well, I ended up finding it on suprnova.org, but for some rason I can't connect to any peers to get it because of some error... so is there another method? other than bit torrent? | |||

How do bittorrent files work? I downloaded a Samba de Amigo .torrent file and don't know what to do with it. | |||

| if you have the bittorrent software just go to suprnova.org and download the cdis then if you use nero use cdi-nero converter, i believe circ posted all the necessary info/links somewhere maybe the net help section or something. | ||||

| bittorrent works fine just download the software from the official page, go to suprnova.org and dl the cdi's (i only use the ones that say cdi in the title to be sure) then convert the file if you use nero, its easy as pissing just gotta get the right versions and downloads. some the dls from suprnova.org dont work for me either. but the propellar arena one does for certain cos thats how i did it. | ||||

I've never had a problem with Bit Torrent, other than it being a slow as fuck way of downloading anything. As long as you have the client, you shouldn't be getting text files.
Wierd. There used to be an actual Half Life DC website that had it hosted, as well as a few mirrors. Anyone know what happened to it? That's where I got my copy forever ago. |

I suspect Valve forced the Half-Life site to shut down. The site vanished shortly before the release dates for Half-Life 2 were announced.
That's just guessin' on my part. |
