WTF! Is there any way i can use rcon commands to remotely control a server my friend setup for me, from my dc. If so what do i do, becase the ;rcon /rcon command isnt working! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks... | ||||

Theres this guy ...what was his name again one of this 3Evil clan .... or
3something . However his girlfriend runs a quake server on his pc , and he plays from dc , and he can control the server remotly from his dc . Or maybe he yust shout for his girlfriend to kick someone of change map who knows ..;.] Look for a server called deathmatch chambersbone 3evil and so on and ask him : But are you really sure , that your friend have setup the config correct ? \rcon 123456 should work ;( BTW if someone know how dc player can join a passworded server i! I always wanted to know how . On pc /password 123456 and it work but not on dc :/ |

I think rcon is something along the lines of " /rcon password command", but I don't remember for sure.

You'll need to have set an rconpassword in your cfg file for the server. Then set the same password on the client - for example: seta rconpassword "password" (this should be in your config file) Then from the console: /rconpassword password /rcon kick slynky /rcon timelimit 15 Hope that helps. |
