Ok my second Total Control 3 adaptor is finally here! I now have all the parts needed for my VOOT setup, which include:

2 Virtual On Cybertroopers Sega Saturn Twin Sticks
2 EMS Total Control 3 Saturn to Dreamcast adaptors with flipswitch for Twin Stick Compatibility
2 Sega Dreamcasts (lol I own 5)
1 Japanese Original of Virtual On Oratorio Tangram (made 2 copies of the original for the vs gameplay)
1 Dragoncast Dreamcast VS LINK Cable

Whenever I have someone over with a digital camera I will try to take pictures with the setup up and running.

The Dreamcast twin sticks arn't built as well as the Saturn ones. They have a cheap lube on the base of the sticks. If your dc twin sticks are starting to creak a bit....STOP USING THEM. You can perminantly break them. You need to re-lubricate them. I don't know 100% how yet I have to look that up.

The Saturn Sticks are much much more durable and have better grease on them. They still are susceptable to the same issue, but not for a much much longer time.

Plus I wanted to use the twin sticks for my saturn AND my dreamcast. Kills 2 birds with one stone :]

I do own a JP original and a US original. However the japanese version of VOOT has more features. So I prefer using that one.

Finally the saturn sticks go for cheaper. I got BOTH sticks, slightly used with the original boxes, for a grand combined total of 75 bucks, AFTER shipping! :] Oh yea....you heard right, seven five point zero zero. Mr. Green

They are JP sticks. They will work on any region Smile Yes playing with Virtual On Twin Sticks is how the game was designed to begin with, as it is the control format in the arcades.

Also if you plan on using saturn sticks on the DC, you NEED the "Total Control 3" adaptor. It is the only saturn to dreamcast adaptor that supports the twin sticks.

Nikon, that is totally sweet! I can't wait to see pictures of your setup. You should post the shots and details of your setup in the guide section so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of things.

Would you mind mentioning the different features offered in the Japanese version of VOOT? I didn't realize there were differences, and now I'm really curious about it.

Too cool!

I've heard of many people using the Dreamconnection 2 3in1 and getting the twinsticks to work properly. I'm sure it would work, but whether it will be perfect is another question. I got two of those adapters and so far they've been brilliant.

anyone else try this?

nice set up by the way :p

thanks,

King.
