If I acquire a US version of Q3 how can I play it on my PAL dreamcast, do I need some kind of boot disc and where would I get 1 from?

Might want to try dchomebrew.org. I'm not sure if discussion of the "reindeer bootdisc" is allowed here.

Why does it suck? If it does exactly what it's supposed to do then surely it can't be bad? The chrome reindeer and spinning CD effect are much better in 1.1 than in 1.3, but they both do exactly what they're supposed to.

Out of curiosity though, what boot disk do you use and how is it better? Does it have any extra functionality?

Also, I'm sure talking about boot disks on here is fine as they are a necessity. I have a PAL DC and BBA but want to play Q3A online with the rest of the guys here - how can I do that without using a boot disk? The answer is that I can't.
