| Everytime I hit connect, on the pc-dc server right before it would normally connect it says connection failed how can I fix this. | ||||

I can say with a certain degree of confidence that it's the answer key in the registry. I had the same exact problem (does the same thing with Maximum Pool and Starlancer). Go to your modem in the registry (same place you found the "monitor" key) and under "answer," edit the string that says "ATA<cr>." Remove the "<cr>" and try again.
ONLY DO THIS FOR THE WIN 98 GUIDE! Note: If you can't even connect Web Browser, then it's something else. |
