ZOMG! I cannot believe I found these!
Those who can't read Japanese might want to babelfish it. http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Toys/2489/ I'm gonna try to do a translation hack on the tools. |

These tools are only really usefull if you have the Japanese version of VOOT. The North American version doesn't feature the customization functions that the Japanese version does. | ||||

NTSC-U users can use cust+. Yea, but to see your emblem in the game you need the Japanese version. I don't think cust+ loads it when running your virtuoid in test mode. Also, customizing your virtuoid with this customization tool is difficult. It is a lot easier to customize it on the Dreamcast with the Japanese version where you can actually see what you are doing. I suppose you have a point there, but for those of us without the Japanese version, this is the next best thing. Of course, I plan on getting the japanese version at some point. Now if only that guy would release his source for cust+ (Anonymous CVS access is denied), I might be able to do something with it. lordnikon wrote:

I've been working on translating the tools, but I can only go as far as the resources (menus, dialogs, etc.). Things like Messageboxes (and thus all the error messages) are beyond me at this point. The most I've been able to do is look at MessageboxA() being called and all the arguments passed to USER32.DLL. I haven't exactly figured out how to patch new data in.
If someone could get the source from this guy, I could probably do a complete translation. And it's just a guess, but he probably doesn't check the email address on that page much. Posted Sun Jun 18, 2006 3:31 pm: Ok, I am now releasing a partially translated Emblem maker, with help file. it is available at http://patmur.freehostia.com/download/ the file is embmkv1_t.zip. |
