Which of these is harder to locate in North America?

- Sega Master System
- Sega Master System II
- Powerbase Converter

Also I saw some box art for a Master System III. Was this only released in certain regions?

i would imagine they're all relitively hard to find in north america as you guys didnt realy get into the whole sega thing untill the MD. With master systems though i would imagine that the MS2 would be the easyist to find in most regions (especialy in euro-land, i know people who had more the one).

No it is pretty easy to find a Master System here in the states online. The scene in Europe for the master system is entirely different though.

I could get a Master System orignal system, but am trying to determine how hard to find the Master System II and Powerbase Convertors are in comparison.

I can't vouch for the difficulty of finding the systems, but I need to have some questions answered before trying to repurchase a master system.

since the MSII does not support cards and hence the 3D Glasses that's a no go for me.
so for me it comes down to the Power Base Convertor and the original Master System.
I think there are some compatibility issues with the PBC with some of the Sega Cards.

not trying to hijack the thread i'm just saying that I have no reason to include a Master System II in the list.
I believe the PBC is a little tougher to track down.

Hmm then it would seem the original Sega Master System is the most logical buy then. I was not aware the Master System II did not support cards.
