Do you have to know any japanese to make a game with Dreamstudio ?

The same question for the DC's music maker programme(apologies, cannot remember the title).

Some Japanese is necessary to create some areas, but you can create your adventure using English text. Just head over to GameFAQ's and you'll have no trouble.

No one mentioned one of my personal favorites: Psyvariar 2. It's often overlooked thanks to Ikaruga, but, in my opinion, its more fun. It's a lot more breakneck and difficult, but its mechanics are very rewarding. You'll probably want an arcade stick if you try this title out though; all that analogue movement wears out on the thumb.

BTW i agree with your choice of Psyvariar. Nice game and one that i'd forgotten about.
