Hello.

Has anyone used this item? Does it work well and lag free? http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-h5-49-en-70-en.html

I'm thinking of buying an arcade stick for the PS2, i'd like to use it for my Dreamcast shooters as well.

Any help appreciated.

Yes you need to get this adapter. The "Plus" version. Not only does it have a VMU slot on it, but its also compatible with the PS2. The original adaptor called "Total Control" only supports Playstation controllers, and will not work with some PS2 controllers. Tao ran into this problem a long while back.

So go for the one you listen X, the Total Control Plus. Smile

Yeah, total control adapters work very well. I have a Total Control 2 (keyboard version) and it works perfectly other than no VMU slot (I just swap it with a regular controller when I need to load/save)

Total Control Plus adapters are fairly well made, and they're lag free. I have a pair of them and use them with PS2 Dual Shocks and arcade sticks without problems. They even work with Logitech wireless PS2 controllers which is a pretty nice feature to have.

I say get them while you still can.
