you can access the web browser when you go to the part of the game where you can save your game and design your own graffiti it should be on one of the menus there for you to go online.

Yea once you get to the place deadmanshand is talking about, then you can use the following guide to surf the net with that browser:

This can be found under Tech Guides with the title:

Dreamkey/Dreampassport In-Game Web Browser Extensions:

Can this be done with the browser included within Skies of Arcadia too, using the same controls?

If it is a Dreampassport browser on Skies of Arcadia, then yes it should work.

Some games (very few) have a PlanetWeb browser on the disc. Though UT is the only one that I can recall having it.

Does the one on UT still work?

I think it accesses a website off the disc. You can't really do anything with the browser on the UT disc though. It doesn't have the same functions as a Dreampassport Browser, so you can't use the one off UT to browse the net. I remember there possibly being a way to use it, but it was an impractical method from what I recall.

Don't know about the Shenmue disc, but I'm posting to confirm that indeed Skies of Arcadia uses a Dreampassport browser, and thus the same button combinations as those for Jet Set/Grind Radio can be used to browse the web with it.
