am I an idiot or what? I just started this game but I don't get it (manual in japanese & all)
I mean it has 1 shot & 1 bomb button but thats it. what is it exactly that you're intended to do here? is there a combo system & if so how does it work? how do you powerup I can fly through a few levels a shoot at stuff & dodge some stuff, but at least with games like shikigami or giga wing, its simple to pick up help pls |

Yeah its ALL about the BUZZ system.....
Its not a easy thing at that too! The wiggling and toggling with the D pad back and forth gets tediously tiresome. I like the game,,,,,,, I just think there could be more too it than buzzing. If you are and get to be a buzz king, you will unlock the 6th level which is hidden.... As for the BUZZiING its a Tough choice, to either decide to fcus on buzzing to level up or just shoot your way through. As you know, there are tight spots of free area for saftey on the bosses so buzz and shoot as much as possible! |

Woah, this is a great shooter.
For the people that are really into it apparently the way to play it is the buzz way. I personally enjoy playing it like an old school shooter and doing a bit of buzzing here and there. Set it on very hard and just try to kill everything and do some buzzing here and there to increase your score and level, hopefully surpasing level 400 which will lead you to the real final boss and ending. Yeah, Psyvariar 2 is Great!
I wish there were a few more weapons to use, but other than than that, it's great! |

I still havn't mastered the buzz system yet myself. You need to really pay attention to the glowing halo around the character, and get the timing right. It is a game I still need to spend some serious hours on.
It is possible to actually beat this game without firing a single shot. |

When your meter fills up and levels, a huge explosion goes off on the screen. The higher level buzz you obtain, the stronger this explosion. Its this leveling up process, and causing these explosions, that destroys enemies and even bosses. | |||
