I was wondering if it still works, I have tried it not so long ago but it tries to connect to dreamcall.sega.com, does that mean we won't be able to use it?

Does XDP also have that option?
Does the japanese BROADBAND PASSPORT has an option like that?

Hello

That subdomain have been shutdown when sega was phasing out the dreamcast services.

You can use this instead
http://www.psilocybindreams.com/dreamcall.html

or input the following command into the url bar

/PWBROWSER/MAINPAD.HTM

Dreamcall should work aslong as innomedia is not going bancrupt and these domains+server are online

dcserver1.innomedia.com 202.79.202.36
dcserver2.innomedia.com 202.79.202.21
dcproxy.innomedia.com 4.21.47.112

I have confirmed that Dreamcall is not supported in PlanetWeb 3.0, so broadband VOIP, at least for the US PW 3.0 browser, is not possible.

Planet Web 3.0 contains many of 2.6 assets including the Dreamcall page. If you browser to it using the "file://" address and select some of the links, the browser doesn't respond to them.

Has anyone used the Dreamcall service this year?

I am actually interested in trying it out. Over at another site two people tried it with a PC-DC and said it didn't work. But this may be the reason why it doesn't work. It appears the site that one guy posted doesn't work anymore. I will have to get a DC mic and try this out.

The japanese browser, the one that has ch@b ( dream passport premier maybe? ) support might work with the 2.6 PW files as the libs for voicecall are the same. It has BBA support.
