Yea I think I will wait to see how this turns out. Considering Last Hope and DUX both shipped with bugs/defects, and a bugfix DUX disc was never ever provided to consumers as promissed, committing any pre-order cash towards this product is a gamble.

Some great minds at work on these games. But yes, the less glamorous jobs of bug testing and whatnot still need to be done.

Their track record isn't great. But impressions of the game have been mostly positive. The MVS cart has a usb connector which they claim can be used to update the eeprom with bugfixes. So hopefully by the time they ship a DC version the community will have graciously offered their bug testing services :p

edit: preordered!

well not confident enough to get the LE version :p

Pink Bullets was a fine release, and Fast Striker has had some good hands testing it. I don't think this will be another Last Hope vanilla.

I'm still really bitter about original Last Hope Evil or Very Mad .

This does look very pretty. Will have to wait for other people to give it a try though first. Not worth the risk! lol.

doesn't look pretty? To me this is the most technologically impressive Neo Geo title ever made. The graphical work put into this is incredibly impressive imo.

The presentation and graphical work is what first caught my attention.

Also, Happy Birthday Dreamcast!

that's what I get for logging on before caffeine >_<

I'll be sure to post my (sober and awake) opinions on the game once it ships...which traditionally takes a while.

PLAY-ASIA is sure promoting the game;

http://www.play-asia.com/Fast_Striker/paOS-13-49-en-70-3zxs.html

Asking all those with a Dreamcast to dig them out for this game, really not necessary for those of us who are still enjoying Sega's last hurrah.
I sincerely hope the developers have learned a lesson from their previous releases, and that the only issue with the game, is finding time to play it.

Anyone know what the official release date will be? And how long Play Asia takes to ship to the UK?

I don't know about release date, but Play Asia are usually quite good. Only takes a couple of weeks to get to UK. What you need to be careful of though is HM customs screwing you over (happened to me so many times when importing things Sad ).

However, I would suggest you try buying from somewhere within the EU. Especially considering it was developed within Europe.

EDIT: You can buy directly from the NG:DEV http://www.ngdevdirect.com/

Would be a lot cheaper!

Hey thanks MC! Wow a MVS Version! Think I will settle for the DC LE version myself.
