Hi, guys.

I was wondering if there is a way I can trick my DC into using my VGA adaptor for noncompatible games, Resident Evil: Code Veronica in particular. I use a PAL version DC, if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Hey,

Yeah many non compatible games can be made to work by using a boot disk.

I have found codebreaker in particular to be good for this. That said however, not all will work...I get the feeling code veronica was one of the few I could never get working, but don't quote me on it Sad

CV can't be tricked, I too have it PAL, but also had to buy the US version (which supports vga).

Last Blade 2 doesn't support VGA. Always wanted to boot this into VGA, but nothing has worked.

I recently purchased the PAL version of Deadly Skies, and it refuses to work in VGA mode. I was really excited about getting some aerial action. I guess I will have to dig out my old CRT unit.

Yeah, I tried Code Veronica, but it didn't work Sad

I haven't tried Shadowman, but Blue Stinger works even though it says it doesn't support VGA. It does desync cutscene speech though, even more than it usually is already!

Does anyone know how to record VGA on a laptop, and with sound as well?

Cool. I don't want to play that game, even though Idid like it. It'll change my VM to a dodgy icon and I got stuck when I played it years ago.

It is weird how RE3 is supported, but seems to make no difference, but RE:CV isn't supported by the VGA and it seems that it would look pretty good in VGA.

Skies of Arcadia is a strange one, as sometimes it works and other times it tells me the VGA isn't supported.

I know how big the game is. The last time I played it, I killed 2 or 3 of The Five and I wasn't even half way through the game.

It works with the VGA indeed, but I played it for a little while before turning it off. I don't want to get into it again!

Ah! I always thought it was my copy that didn't work well (I bought it 2nd hand years ago and has some scratches). The desync on the sound was to much that I never bother to play it more than 10 minutes because it got on my nerves. After all maybe thats because I only tried on a VGA and never on the TV Razz .

It could be just the PAL version that doesn't work with the VGA.
