I know there are some threads about modding a DC controller, but what about adhesive pads? Do these work well? or does the furious gameplay of quake make them slip off the DC face buttons. I was playing online with the controller for a change just for kicks and the only real problem is that the DC face buttons when used for movement (forward, back, left, right) are just too far apart.

So I was wondering if adhesive d-pads sold for portable systems might work well on a DC controller.

Has anyone tried these? Could be a cheap experiment.

I've seen them used on the white GP2X effectively so they don't need a centre pivot at all. Should work I think.
