I have not 1, but 3 Dreamcast Broadband Adapters Very Happy

I do use them though, for research and testing as well as gaming.

I actually need them for restoration research Wink I have 1 setup on a Dreamcast I can play online with other users, and the other 2 in Dreamcasts that I use for local research testing.

don't give up, they show up on ebay pretty often for as low as $100. A bit pricey compared to a GC or PS2 BBA, but you'll always make your money back if it's not to your liking.

The only ones I have found lately are the JDM models and those can range from 2 to 300$, and on top of that its nearly impossible to find a copy of PAL PSO v2. But ill keep searching to see what I can dig up.

I am surprised someone hasn't reverse engineered the bba adapter. Couldn't be that hard, could it?

it's not impossible, and there have been people working on it in their free time. There is very little documentation on the hardware. But even with it reverse engineered, it'd still cost money to produce for enthusiasts. The end result could be something well more expensive than the BBA.

Something more useful would be a hacked voip box to make use of both a broadband connection without a pc. Just a theory, but it could make use of every online game for dc.
