This one came out of the blue for me at least! There are copies of this game on Amazon for 1p, so I'll have to buy one sooner rather than later.

Can someone point me to where I can read about how it came back? I mean. Out of all the games that I would have assumed would have been able to come back online at some point in the future - Planet Ring isn't even on the list! It's just nuts!

This came as a surprise for me aswell, wow Very Happy.

Congratulations for all the people involved and thanks for bringing this back online.

I never played this online and don't have a copy.

I'm just a bit concerned that it requires dial-up to connect online, or PC-DC set-up that it seems very difficult to make. Well guess I need to read more about it.

The netopia method is easy but it needs more money as you need to get a netopia and a line sim.
Server should be up tonorrow perhaps

Was this game ever released in Japan?

I believe there is an Arcade that was selling REALLY exotic dreamcast titles.

I can't remember if it was PLanet Ring or Dream Eye or SOMETHING. IT came with a camera or a microphone. I can't remember.
They also had a dreamcast karaoke system, and a whole lot of other stuff.

Sadly, I didn't have a job back then. SO A lot of the good stuff is gone.
Just thinking about me missing out on them depresses me.

Never had a chance to play seeing how I was a few years late to the DC.

Thanks so much to those which have been working on this. After Maximum Pool I was quite skeptical of any other games making it back online. Various sites are littered with threads of "who wants to help me get *game* back online", and they are usually all hypothetical and just dead-ends.

It will be great to actually use the mic on the DC for once! Definitely going to get online with this soon, just wondering though is it both BBA and Dial-Up compatible?
