Were there any instances that the Dreamcast port of an arcade game was superior to the arcade original? I've been playing some Model 2 and NAOMI/NAOMI2 emulators lately but I could not really get the NAOMI stuff running smoothly so had no chance to properly compare the games side by side.

Mostly wondering about gameplay differences by the way.

Oh yeah, forgot about that game.

Didn't it mostly add dynamic stuff in the background and the characters looked nice and spiffy?

Kannibal, can you clarrify what type of differences? Gameplay is a highly subjective term, and is generally associated with the overall feel of the game. There can be other differences like content additions, art direction differences (which is what you guys are talking about with Soul Calibur, and then there are technical/performance differences.

Well, what I meant was gameplay tweaks for performance or tighter gameplay. Can't come up with game names at the moment, but there have been instances where the arcade version of a game is much more buggy but later got fixes during the ports.
