Set in a fictional world, the game follows a young creature, Nymn, who is separated from the family pack after the sun sets. Unable to get back to the safety of the underground home, Nymn must find a way to survive the night terrors and get to morning. TANGLEWOOD’s world is a dangerous one after dark, and Nymn must use skills of evasion, special abilities, traps and trickery to defeat predators.

The game looks interesting, and seems to be a platforming puzzle game. I am really digging the atmospheric audio.

I've seen this game on UK tv! The guy made it on an actual Mega CD dev kit, and he even tried to get Sega to licence it.

That is awesome. He really went the extra mile with the original hardware.

Here is a YT link as well for those interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dy5F8Lrdb3c

Matt Phillips had to make repairs to the original hardware/dev kit, and it just goes to show you how many layers are involved with the preservation process. 10 years ago, dev kits popping up on ebay/assembler/atari-age forums were sporadic enough that they were a common part of the gaming enthusiast landscape. Now, not only is the hardware coming into disrepair, but the expertise and documentation to even utilize it is gradually eroding because there just aren't as many people working with the technology anymore.

I know this is a new game and all but on the dev side its interesting to see someone trying to work through the original way of doing things. Its kind of like when M2 ported Fantasy Zone II to a real System 16 arcade board. I am looking forward to playing Matt's game.
