I was storing my Dreamcast games in newly acquired plastic bins that require that the discs sit vertical, when I had a bit of a revelation. I was storing the games spine up. I thought to myself "gravity"... this cannot be good.
Over time, with the manual openings pointing downward, the weight will cause the pages to bend or catch against the small speed-bumps on the edge of the disc case. So instead I am storing them spine down, with the open edges of the inserts pointing up. Just figured I would pass along this tip. Solid advice. Now if only it was that easy to preserve Gamecube manuals.. | ||||
