Wow! Crazy to think this was left on a hard drive for so many years.

Here's a video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eRTRTPORdg

I was half way across the galaxy when I heard someone say.... futuristic racer? dreamcast?

*opens video*

Yea.... ok I can see why this game wasn't released. It is a bit rough around the edges with regards to graphics. It does look like a complete game experience though, and seems to run at a good framerate from the video.

The Dreamcast isn't exactly populated with a lot of futuristic racing games. The primary one is Mag Force Racing, and runner up would be POD Speedzone which is more like Rollcage than Wipeout. Since Rollcage is lumped in as related to the futuristic racing genre, then POD Speedzone would qualify as well.

There aren't a lot of games that have the humanoid player shown on the craft. Those that have, have not been that great. When I saw the chracter on the craft at the start of the race I was like "oh no...". But I think this game pulls it off due to all of the animations the character makes as it pilots the craft. They probobly took cues from pro circuit motorcycle games.

Cool that this has been released for everyone to enjoy!

The "Y2K Fighter" subtitle is hilarious. Wink

Yeah, the game's name really dates it. All it needs is EXTREME in there to have the Late 90's 'tude trinity completed.
