The disk has like 2 or 3 minor scratches. The game loads up fine and all. The problem is, when it's Kilik Vs. Voldo or Kilik Vs. Xiangxua the game freezes. This also happens with Maxi and Xiangxua, Kilik Vs. Yoshimitsu and Maxi Vs. Yoshimitsu. Anyone have an idea of what to do?

If it's the scratch that is making the problem (which it might), you may want to use that disc doctor thingy. I had Sonic Adventure all scratched up and it had problems, but when I used the disc doctor to fix it, it worked fine.

Heh, funny thing is, I also had a scratched up Sonic Adventure but the game worked fine. I wanted to clean it up so I used the game doctor and it screwed the game up.

i've heard that if the scratch is towards the middle it could cause a problem with the CD table

The scratches are very light and thin and there away from the middle of the disk. I couldn't believe that those tiny scratches would cause the game to freeze up like that. shit sux...

I think it could be down to the fact that your Dreamcast finds Voldo as creepy and annoying as I do Smile

Quite a bugging problem, but not as bugging as digging out Soul Calibur after years, only to realise the Mission Battles you couldn't complete in the past are no easier in the present!
