I watched a program tonight on Channel 4 ( UK TV ) about human mutants. It was all about deformaties and siamese twins etc.
It turns out that someone found a protien that decides some of our facial dimentions and they called it Sonic the hedgehog. I bet the production company wernt that pleased as they had to explain where the name came from and showed a quick clip of what looked like the Mega drive ( Genesis ) title screen of Sonic the hedgehog. | I could never figure out why Sega would change the name of the 16 bit machine. Its called the Genesis here in the States and MegaDrive in Europe. I guess marketing is to blame. The Saturn logo is different every where as well. | ||||

If I remember the program correctly the Sonic the hedgehog protien takes messages from the Commander gene and goes off with those messages to make your facial dimensions. Hey they could make it into a game, lol. Laters |
