I was looking at my Hoyle Casino Manual and on the back is is Sierra Sports Game Room. i want to buy a copy for dc. Anyone know where to find one? It had online multiplayer, which i'm assuming is gone.

The back of the game's cover has no mention of online or modem support. Do you actually own the game? or just the manual?

Gotta own a copy of the game, and be able to boot the game and see if the game itself has any such features. Can't take a manual online :]

Interesting though. Wonder if the pic on the manual was taken early and online multiplayer was removed before release. Never seen this listed as online or once online anywhere. Be interesting to see the result. Even if it was online bet it went down same time as Maximum pool.

I just looked at cdcover.cc and look at the manual and it doesn't have any mention it being a online game.

I suppose its possible. F355 doesnt have one of those little "Online Multiplayer" Tabs at the back of its case, it simply says Modem and up in the description, it mentions multiplayer.

I suppose a 3rd party person got lazy and just left it out...

Ohhhhhh ok now I understand. Gotta be more specific chile hehe. What he means is, on the back of the manual, where there is usually an advertisement for another game, is an ad for 'another' game, titled Sierra Game Room. This game was never released.

oh. can you download the game anywhere? Think you can still play online if the pc version is still up? That would explain why it wasn't on their website.

I forgot about that one. I read this thread last night and pulled my copy of Hoyle Casino last night while watching World Series of Poker.

Game Room looks pretty interesting based on the cover. For it to be printed and shown on the cover like that, I bet the final edition is floating around somewhere on a GD-R. Especially since there is already a PC version.
