Thanks for the info DRBagabundo, appreciate it.
So I think I'm going to pay 20 for the console, hookups and controller; which seems reasonable.. [about 30 CAD] |

Hey, I heard somewhere that if u play sports titles on the Sports DC, u get more commentaries if u make a home run or good play. Can anyone else clarify this?

I was the one who said that Stewey. Everyone should try playing NFK2K2 on a regular Dreamcast, and then play it on a Sports Dreamcast. There's a difference in the sports casters comments.

Ok guys, is 42 USD worth a [very good-excellent condition] Black sports DC w/hookups and a complete, excellent condition Marvel vs Capcom 2 NTSC? This is the price I'm thinking of offerering.
(19 USD for MvC2 and 23 USD for the console) Thanks. |

In my opinion it is. Isn't that a limited edition console?

Ahh the sports DC.
Funny thing is we have 1 at work (I work at a game shop) thats $40 CDN. Comes with plugs and all. Well except Capcom Vs. SNK2. Its been their for so long too! So ya, I would think $42 US is too much (only cause I have something to compare it to. Anyways good luck! |

Yea, I'm currently looking for one of those and a launch Dreamcast as well.

An interesting question...
Were there any black vmu's? I've never seen one, but I'd love to have one. Dreamcast ? wrote:
Yes, there were. I've never seen a solid black one, but there were translucent black ones... Check the bottom of Yakumo's "VMU Hardware" page over at segagagadomain. All the way at the bottom it shows a standard, pure black VMU (not translucent). http://www.segagagadomain.com |

I think a Sega console should always be black, never cared for the eggshell white to begin with. I have a Sports Edition DC and didn't know that there is extra commentary on the sports games, i feel priveledged. I seen a Sports Edition DC here in town for 20.00 dollars but bought some games instead, i think i'll buy it next time though...i need a back up anyways.

The dude told me he'd give me a black sports DC console (with all hookups) and a complete, mint Marvel vs Capcom 2 for 57 USD.
