What are everyone's recommendations of what games to check out for the DC? I've arranged a tidy little list, but maybe you'd like to add something to it. Smile

List:
PSO PAL
Ikaruga
Rez
Jet Set Radio
Virtua Tennis
Virtua On
Soul Calibur
Guilty Gear X
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Grandia II
Shenmue
Skies of Arcadia
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver

Edit: Does anyone know of a golf game for the DC?

Golf games on the DC... thats a hard one, I would hit up the import scene. Lots of Japanese golf games for the DC (I say lots loosely)

There are a TON of outstanding games for the Dreamcast, and many have already been mentioned, so I'll chip in just a few:

Gundam: Federation Vs. Zeon DX
Dead or Alive 2
Ferrari F355 Challenge: Passione Rossa
Crazy Taxi
Test Drive: Le Mans
Starlancer
Samba De Amigo
Power Stone
Project Justice
Skies of Arcadia
Grandia II
Rayman 2
Tokyo Extreme Racer 2
Sega 90 Minute Football (European PAL soccer game - very good)
Looney Tunes Racing (great party game, very Mario Kartish)

The bottom line is this: On the Dreamcast you'll find more arcade game conversions and top quality original content at rock bottom prices then you will find on any other 128 bit system, so have fun with it.

I second PROJECT JUSTICE. It's one of my favorite games of all time.

I must add: Capcom Vs. SNK 2.

Woah, that does indeed look sweet! Shocked

Btw, what features does Propeller Arena have? I've heard that its out there somewhere, and it just looks awesome. While I heard that it would have online capabilities (IGN, so the data is dated) so anyone know?

if you know how to burn games and use bittorrent then go to suprnova.org and download the cdi for prop arena. it would've been online but as it uses sega snap like outtrigger and afo (and others) which is now owned by nokia or something (correct me if im wrong) it cannot be played online and theres no physical way for anyone to do it really. it has an arcade tournament where you just participate in like 10 fights with 5 or 6 other pilots and the most kills wins. theres loads of power ups to use like missiles invisibillity and other stuff. it also has lots of stunts you can pull off in the form of combos, the sort you get in 2d fighting games. a section of the game is dedicated to learning them, then theres the multiplayer modes as well so its pretty stacked gameplay wise and it does look awesome.

back to subject,

did anyone else in the uk get these games after the dc died?

evil twin
cannon spike
heavy metal geomatrix

and i had serious trouble finding pso ver 2 as well. if so has anyone beaten evil twin? i get stuck on that and some of the background graphics seem to glitch. theres a level where you find this guy trapped in a plant high on something and when i play it it all comes up green now, like the colours and stuff didnt load properly. is it my dc or lense or disc?

I've just finished downloading Propeller Arena but I have no clue in burning the CDI. I use Alcohol 120% but I'm not quite sure if the burning format I normally use works on this. Anyone know the proper burning format?
