I'm assuming this would be the forum to ask in.
How exactly would one go about uploading files from a VMU to a PC? If I were to use a Nexus card, could I convert the .DCI file to a .VMI that could be posted on a website, so a DC user could download it directly? All of the information I've read so far points to no, that the Nexus only works with .DCI files. Do any websites exist that would upload a .VMI file from a VMU and e-mail it to me (sort of like what booyaka.com does with PSO screenshots)? Basically, how do I get a file from my VMU onto my computer in .VMI form, so I can post it on the net so others can download it via their Dreamcast directly to their VMU? Here I am to answer your question, roughly 2.5 years later 
One way is to take the Nexus VMU, move the file to your PC in .DCI format, and then use another application to convert it to a VMI file. |

I used to have the same problem.
http://bswirl.kitsunet.org/vmu/save/public/uploader.php?lg=en&menu=on This site is a VMU uploader: I myself have uploaded some save files, and yeah, I was able to transfer them to my pc. The only thing is that everyone is gonna be able to download that same file, but if you're okay with that, here's the URl(again): http://bswirl.kitsunet.org/vmu/save/public/uploader.php?lg=en&menu=on Good luck on that. |

If it still works I dont believe that everyone is then able to upload the files in fact from memory you have to get things done fairly quick as the temporary file used only exists for a short space of time.
