I think 2 games that are no brainers....are Quake 3 Arena and 4x4 Evolution. Both games are online forever and both have players online almost all the time. Specially 4x4 Evo.

PAL PSO would be another excellent purchase....no lag...perfect gameplay. Very Happy

Next I would get Starlancer and F355 after you have bought the above games.

Starlancer actually performs the best....6 player dogfights with little to no lag. But since games are spares and only scheduled, it's advised to pick up Q3A, 4x4, or PAL PSO first.

Yes, Quake III Arena is the only online FPS game. StarLancer takes place in first-person mode, but it can be changed into 3rd person ala StarFox.

53.2 is your connection speed, not the modem speed. if it connects at 53.2, then it's an awesome connection on a 56k modem. I would definitely say Phantasy Star Online is your best bet, especially if you can get a PAL copy. I'm stuck with a US copy because I have no way of ordering anything off of ebay and I haven't been able to trade with anybody for one yet. anybody?

Hedgehog, keep the Dreamcast unplugged for about 6 or so days so the internal CMOS battery resets. That usually does it for me.

hehhe, thats because 1 hour of gameplay fully recharges the battery, which should hold out for 30 days of being unplugged, as it gets older and wears out it will drop the days it can hold its charge. You can delete your internal memory if and only if you have a PW browser 1.0 once the PW logo appears press ... umm I forget now what the buttom combo is I think its X and A....

I forgot-what exactly does the internal memory do other than store ISP data?

does it store any PSO data? and does it store any data for any other games?
