Ok.. I booted up a copy of a sadly ripped version of Xploder 3 times... VMUtool once.. and the trial version of FoF once.. The Xploder not being dummied... VMUtool not being dummied.. and FoF isn't dummied either.. XDP was booted but I believe that is dummied.. I am afraid I have put extra wear on the Dreamcast, maybe shortening its lifespan, or causing possible problems down the road.. Have I? Someone help!!!! | |||

You'll only at risk for shortening the lifespan of your Dreamcast if you load undummied copies repeatedly, because the constant jumping back and forth of the laser mechanism over a prolonged period of time will cause it to wear out quicker.
Loading those files just once or ocassionally shouldn't be anything to worry about. |
