It had been rumoured, but now yet another shootemup to grace the DC. Play-asia, supposedly acting on inside info has already listed Trizeal, and says pre-orders will happen soon. Still not 100% confirmed....but this is extremly strong proof to support it indeed getting released. I'll update as soon as official word is posted.

/me sheds a tear, *god i love this system*

EDIT: !
Ok its now official, it's listed in this month's issue of famitsu magainze.

TRIZEAL IS COMING TO DREAMCAST! Razz

April 7th 2005

This really is insanity. I can't believe this is happening.

Wow! I figured that was it for dc games. I dont really like shooters but this one looks good. I take it runs on the naomi arcade hardware.

It's funny I love the dreamcast so much that I feel the sudden urge to purchase each and every game.

Since the dreamcast 'died' the only games released an english person can play have been shmups. Now I do like shmups but they require a lot of effort to get in to. I've got

Giga Wing
Giga Wing2
Ikaruga
Border Down
Zero Gunner 2
Gun Bird 2

And don't have anywhere near enough time to master all of them along with playing all my other games. In fact the ones I like most and play often are gun bird and the giga wings and they're not the hardcore 'technical' style shmups like Ikaruga.

and I'm still without Mars Matrix, Chaos Field, Psyvariar 2 and now this Surprised My point being do I buy this or be sensible and save my money!?

Le Spank, if you're a fan of Gun Bird and Giga Wing, then I highly recommend picking up Mars Matrix.

it really depends on the individuals money situation, thankfully last year i had steady income and live at home so my outgoings arent that bad so i was able to buy as many games as necessary including all the amazing shmups that came out as well as the majority of the pal back catalogue, i will continue to buy any new worthwhile titles that are released but i am not going to buy EVERY one myself as baldur force exe taught me there are still going to be the odd poor title released (i simply cant enjoy that game this is just my opinion) im sure that i'll be getting the new shmups that come out but this new milestone one doesnt look too good, still im sure it'll be fun and have good gameplay.

i just looked at the screen shots they have on the official site and i must say its beautiful to look at so far. i think they have found a nice balance of colourful enemies and explosions, as much as i like chaos field the number of bullets that fill the screen is just mind boggling followed closely by psyvariar 2. i love the dreamcast and cos i follow the dreamcast so closely im getting more and more into these shooters i have everyone that was released on the dreamcast i believe, have g darius on ps1 want radiant silvergun on saturn and have played countless others i cant remember since being a kid in the local chippy playing on the arcade machine. so the fact that its mainly only shooting games coming to dc for now is great cos their all such great quallity, in my opinion anyway. im quite happy spending money on these new titles, it doesnt just help the dc community and scene its cos their very good games!!! (me shut up now me speakum toooooo much)

jeezzz...these shumps really extend the DC in terms of commercial life and these games offer the ultimate in replay value. I will most likely pre-order Trizeal just to add it in my collection.

Lik-Sang have finally opened preorders!

http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=4&products_id=6523

As a reminder; Triangle Service still needs your help--The choice is yours as to whether or not to help them continue producing games:

http://dreamcast.onlineconsoles.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4156

(For those that aren't aware! I know that a few notables here have already pre-ordered the game. Cool )

PS- LS should really pull that "Psyvariar 2" banner down; They've been out of stock for at least half of a year.

Ah... Well, Play-Asia.com are very good as well. Maybe without the "free shipping" on select items, but, they also do not have overpriced shipping on the rest of the items. Wink

(Not that I've noticed Lik-Sang.com having overpriced shipping, but, it's what I've heard.)

Your mention is interesting, though, because I was thinking that Lik-Sang's listing of the item (Trizeal) might've been due to fan/customer requests... There are statements to the contrary, but, I believe that they weren't going to sell the game, until fans like you and your acquaintance (and others!) contacted them about it. So, kudos to you and everyone that took initiative! Mr. Green

As an aside; Which French forum is this, if I may ask? Is it related to DC? (I'm guessing that it is.)
