i don't have a dreamcast... (hope that will change)

but i've known about this site for a long time... and its hilarious watching these ppl come on and w/o looking at the forums, just start a thread, "is UT online?"

and then they are like "well i'll start a LAN" or "i'm the savoir... I can bring UT back online"

idk i think these ppl are funny... but i guess they mean well... they just need to learn to read so that they actually post intelligent comments

Interesting that you should bring this up, me and ultrapro were having discussion about this the other day. Yes I find it kinda funny when people with little to no technical experience start making up wild stories about getting stuff back online. They typically involve such things as, "If I hook my breadmaker up to my Dreamcast, and put in wheat bread...maybe I can bring back Speed Devils Online."

People think this online stuff gets repaired by "magic" or something.

I try not to get all uppity when they make their first post. But I can start to get pretty irritated when I post a heaping reply to their thread, and then they completly ignore my comments. As if they don't want to hear it. They want to live in a fantasy world.

I am so tempted to just reply and say, "Yes, yes ALL the online games are coming back. Tomarrow at noon. I coded them all in a half an hour last night it was easy." Except I won't because people will actually take me seriously. Surprised

I really need to get myself one of those George Forman Dreamfats! That and the Divers 2000 are on a very short list! Does it have the built in Dreamfat hard drive and DVD player too?

Ack! I'm off to eBay!!!
