I've heard a lot about this game. That the audio was good. That it was a great game. That it didn't come to the US. Crying or Very sad Anyways, my friend came over with the game called Rez. After playing it, I was like HOLY SHIT! This game has to be one of the most unique experiences you'll find on the Dreamcast, including JSR. I love this game. The music, graphics, and gameplay all mesh so well. For anyone who doesn't know, Rez is a shooting game with an awesome audio experience. Everything you shoot makes a sound that is in conjunction with the music. You have to play it to know what I mean. I would recommend this game to anyone.

The game is also the perfect reason to own a Jump Pack.

It just adds to the experience and goes really well with the music. In fact, it was so well implemented that there was a 3rd party controller made in Japan especially for this games and especially for the ladies.........

I started playing Rez for the first time yesterday and it IS the BEST game I have. No other game in the world can compare to Rez. I just wish I had the Jump (Tremor) Pack

uuuuuuuuuuu and she is still prsioned into the system Smile
Rez isnt simple a shooter - its more more more - maybe you noticed you make music by hitting the targets. Its one of the games where I can simple sit and watch how others play. Evrybody plays his own Rez style.

Playasia had a sweet link for the PS2 version..... a dude wrote his story about playing REZ while his girl used the dance vibrator ---- both were happy at the end Razz

Hilarious!

Are there any differences between the Dreamcast version and the PS2 version? Because theres no level 5 in the DC version.

Yes there is. To unlock Level 5 you have to 100% clear Levels 1-4.

As far as I know, the only other differences between the two are VGA compatibility and frame rate (the PS2 version runs at 60 frames per second, whereas the DC version runs at 30).

Well guys it has been a really long time but today I got Rez in the post and thought of this site instantly. I feel like one of my dreams has just come true as I won it on ebay thursday for only £22 and got it today!

So far replayed level 1 many times and can't get enough of it as it is that special. It has been nice coming back here and havng something to discuss. I got a lot more new games in between my absence such as Sonic shuffle this week to complete my dreamcast Sonic games. Smile

Nice to see you around here as well mate and you should definetly try to track down Rez. All the praise it gets is worth it and it is quite funny but I had it playing on the background all afternoon.

I miss ourPSO playthroughs online mate. Smile

Well I doubt you would, unless there are some Import games shops there. Rez was only released in Pal countries and Japan for the DC. So the only real place you would be able to find it would be on these here t'interwebs.

@Charmed_699: Nice to see you post on here again Diogo! It's been a while. Smile
