Has anyone played or heard of F355 Challenge 2: International Course Edition?

I have never heard of it, but it's listed on Wikipedia as a NAOMI based arcade sequel to F355 Challenge. I assume based on the title, that new courses are involved, but were there any other changes from the original F355 game? Also, did this game have the online lap time features of the original?

Sega routinely makes numerous editions to games, which I normally don't pay particular attention to, but I'm very interested in trying this one out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

from whats there, it seems that this is the same as the original except with 4 more tracks, and Im fairly sure that the online rankings for this game were on the same site as the original f355.

Hello,
From what i gathered the game has a new physical model that get rid of the nazo drift bug, enhances the driving lines by taking into account G's and also there're the tracks of the consoles versions.
There's also a clutch and the assistances buttons are directly on the right side of the machine (where the H-gear shifter is located).

It would have been superb to have it on a console, but unfortunately the game was only released in japan for arcade.

and Yes some of the times on the original site were from F355 2.

whoops, only just seen this thread.

I'd like to add that the Dreamcast version of F355 challenge is more like F355 2 in the arcade in that it features all the tracks from F355 1 and all the tracks from F355 2 as unlockables. Very Happy
