Well guys, I haven't been here for a while but I'm back. I'm now building up my Dreamcast collection once again and now I'm looking to custom paint em. I've had a bunch of ideas but they all turn into brain farts. So I came here to try to get some ideas. If you guys have custom painted your Dreamcasts, post pics or links here.

DRBagabundo, why do you keep on selling, buying, re-selling, and re-buying your Dreamcast collection?

Nikon, I don't know man, I'm going insane. I just can't keep away from the Dreamcast for a long time. I ended up selling my GameCube, PS2, XBOX & 360, all at separate times. Dreamcast is the only one that I've re-bought.

I was on those sites last night looking for inspiration and didn't find anything. Check this site out:

magickcupboard.com

Check out the Ninja Turtles Dreamcast.

I bet those VMU's with custom lights last about 20 minutes per battery set, heheh!

Actually, LEDs probably use far less power than that LCD screen.

I have had the same problem. I sold my original Dreamcast that I got at launch, and got another one by selling my overrated Sega Saturn. I sold my Gamecube, to get an X-Box, to later sell that. I got a Gamecube again. I also managed to have 2 PS2 at one time. It's crazy.

lol I think 21 is optimistic Smile There is always the option to convert your VMU though I can't find the Link. BOOB! had a link a couple of years ago, shouldn't be too difficult to google it.

On the subject of customising a DC, I haven't painted/sprayed mine but instead opted to buy the stick-on covers. I got a Juventus cover and my favourite the skull emblazoned 'Evil Inside' cover - very Cool Twisted Evil

Maybe the link is working - if so look through my units - they arent painted, I used original parts. The quake and hello felicitas dc are painted by a store.
