I've got a JP Dreamcast arriving this week (I think its JP, might be US to tell you the truth, its off a friend who ahs 4 import Dreamcasts and he didnt specify) and was wondering if anyone knew how i could get PAL games to run on it, not only that I do want to run both sets of NTSC games on it.
I've heard of DC-X but the only place I can find it are charging £19.99, which is a bit out of my current price range, and I've also heard of Utopia, but I dont know if that will run Imports or not, any help would be greatly recieved. |

thanks, i wont bother trying utopia then, it wot be for a while anyway, the dreamcasts coming this weekend, but i wont have the spare cash for the power converter till after july 8th | |||

if your going to play PAL DC games on a foriegnish DC, then you'll have the brilliant bonus of being able to play previously 50hz only games in glorious 60hz. The difference is supposedly, markedly, noticeable!! Last edited by mcmonkey on Thu Jun 22, 2006 4:22 pm; edited 1 time in total |

How noticable is it? well, i'd imagine that you'd lose the border's from the screen, and that the picture quality would also be improved. This would only be on games like virtuia fighter 3 tb and some others. |
