Hey ppl, I was looking through the paint jobs on lyingwakes site and noticed a pretty simple looking window mod for the good ol' Dreamcast... I had to do it, with the help of my dad and his tools of course. Mr. Green

My dad dremeled the design that i made out and i helped patch it up, then we dremeled the cd case out for the same shape and size (maybe a tiny bit bigger) and wedged it in the hole, then we put on some glue that is made to use with plastic models' windshield, as super glue makes them look frosty Confused

It is pretty good looking, post all of your guys' window mods if you have some

That looks really good. I've been thinking about doing a window mod for a while (I've only really done paint jobs), but I don't have any dremel skills. I think they look awesome.

Also, I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who's DC lives next to a monitor.

I only have one DC, theres no danger in cutting it, because you take the lid of first.
Anyway im not a collector or anything, i have no intention of selling my DC Very Happy

All look great, maybe even keep the DC running cooler .........

I'm making curtains or blinds for mine. I'm trying to link the tiny motors to DC's internal clock so they open in the morning and close at night.

thats a joke right? Shocked dont laugh at our windows they are amazing Wink

Btw I didnt use a dremel for mine. All i did was:

-put masking tape on the lid of my DC
-drew the design (arrow) onto the tape
-used a drill to create holes to put my blade through (i used the blade off a hacksaw)
-cut the basic shape
-filed/sanded it
-glued some perspex onto the back (cd case)
