Carrying on from the 'Rez mouse control' thread really. I wondered if there are any other unorthodox ways of controlling a game.
Soul Calibur with fishing rod, Space Channel 5 with Dance Mat. Any others ? |

I played Virtua Tennis with the gun in the days when I only had 2 pads and 2 guns and wanted to play 4 player VT.
It works because you use the D-pad to control your character, trigger = top spin, B button = slice. Trigger+B = lob,  |

I played Sonic Shuffle with the Fishing Rod!  It's playable since you don't need to use L and R |

i played unreal tournament with just the mouse once, since my keyboard didnt arrive yet. i cant remember exactly how i did it though. actually i may have used the analog stick on the dc controller to move then everyhing else with the mouse. | |||

Well for nonsens I tried playing virtua tennis 2 with a guitar controller for the Psone --- its working like crap, but against a bad player Im able 2 win a set  |

I had a blast one time playing quake arena with the fishing rod. i couldn't look up or down but spinning the reel to shoot was awesome. I even went online, but got my ass handed to me. | |||

Yeah
but it recognises (if i remember right) the reel as both LandR and it doesn't have a directional pad, so your control options are very limited. but yea spinning the reel for the chaingun is pretty fun. |
