Hi.
I really like my DC. So I guess I should play a little bit more online. I don'T have Quake III, I just have 4x4 Evo and PSO.
So should I buy Quake III? I already had the PAL version but I don't want to download a backup. So I have to buy the NTSC version.

Is it really worth? I just have 33,6k Modem in my DC so will this be totally laggy?

Just for a better connection, I would grab a 56K modem http://cgi.ebay.com/SEGA-DREAMCAST-REPLACEMENT-REPAIR-PART-INTERNET-MODEM_W0QQitemZ110171493709QQihZ 001QQcategoryZ4303QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem not too expensive.

I agree, if you can afford to snag a 56k modem, do it.

Youre located in PAL land Smile --- dont be worry about ur 33k - play on the dcarena servers. Your ping should be good there - cause the servers are located in europe.

Get it, its a great game! Just got back into it myself, the single player is still really challenging! I'm working on setting up the PC-DC server at the mo, so I should be online soon Smile

I like it, I played it when I had my copy, and you can also play with PC users! I recommend it, it's a good FPS!

Obviously, considering you're posting this on a Quake III Arena forum asking whether or not you should buy it, the answers are almost always going to be biased, but nevertheless, I'd recommend it. I play OpenArena (a clone for the PC and Mac) a lot, and it's great fun, but I think finding opponents on the Dreamcast version may be a little tricky these days.
