as the title says, I just got the game, it says vga on the back of the box; but it doesn't work in vga (gives me the AV cable error on screen)
can anyone confirm this for the PAL version? also, does the US version work in VGA, I'll look for that version then, so I can at least play the game thx mayu |

i own the US version and it is indeed VGA ready. i would suggest using a swap trick on your PAL copy before buying the US one though. i don't see why the PAL version won't support VGA if it says it on the case. 
try this when you get the game working. |

thx gary, I looked some stuff up, & its as JKK said: pal = no vga 
I even tried tricking it with DC-X, but it wouldn't work |

You could try to boot the game with the VGA box not plugged in. Most, if not all, VGA boxes also have a switch that allows to choose TV-out instead. Booting the game in TV mode and then switching to PC mode should help.
Technically all Dreamcast games should work in VGA, as it's the Dreamcast that outputs (generates) it, not the games (nor the VGA box). |
