Hi,
First off I am completely new to this scene as I just bought a dreamcast off of ebay. However I started to play Quake 3 and it is the best PC to home system translations I have played as far as first person shooters... anyways, I want to play online! I don't have broadband, just the good ole phone line. Any step by step help would be greatly appreaciated!!!!! Thanks a ton!

What part of the world do you live in?
Do you currently have a dialup internet service provider?
Do you have a web browser disc?
Do you have a US(NTSC) or European(PAL) copy of Quake 3?

After I know this then I can help further Smile

Ok the AOL ISP is not compatible with the sega dreamcast. You will need to use one of the free ISP's featured here on the website: click here

Use your web browser disc to configure your internet we have a guide for that here as well. Once you bring up a web page using the browser disc (usually defualts to sega.com), then pop in Quake 3, and go to internet, and connect. It should detect the saved internet settings and connect you to the master server list.

In order to give you help I need information. What browser disc do you have? What ISP are you using? (FREE? or your own ISP?)
