It's like someone already mentioned on the shmups forums, the game has an impeccable sense of volume. The ships don't look like cardboard cutouts like a lot of games of the genre (cough gradius cough). In terms of style, it does reminds me of R-TYPE a bit, minus the fluorescent colors they've decided to implement.
Regardless, it looks pretty interesting. I'm not a HUGE fan of horizontal shmups, vertical shooters tend to be my cup of tea, but it does look neat nonetheless. And it's always nice to see the DC getting another shmup, unofficial or not. |

Ya I agree Promise, I'll take any new dc game even if it's a horizontal shooter. Hopefully it's good, there have only been very very few times i've enjoyed non-vertical shooters. | |||

Well its not a surprise that the game resembles R-Type in design because their previous game Last Hope was an R-Type Clone.
