Hi all,

I seem to have been on a bit of a collecting streak recently..buying all the collectible "memorabilia" type item I can find, this is what has arrived in the last couple of weeks:

Dreamcast Bag Set

You may also have noticed the alarm clock:

Dreamcast Alarm Clock

This coupled with the Dreamcast watches it starting to look quite nice Smile

So what else is out there guys? I have seen a few other items about such as the Dreamcast carry case from the USA and the CD holder, which I must get as it matches the bags.

Not many people seem to talk about things like this, people only tend to talk about the games and hardware in terms of collectibility and rariety, which is great but I think its time to discuss this side of things..anything to add anyone?

Hey,

Yeah, the bags are probably better, mostly because the clock is rather plain...probably would not have bought it if it wasn't for the fact that I had never seen it before. The clock is better in the flesh though Smile

Yeah, did wonder about figures...not so much my thing but might be worth a look in the future, I know there are some Sonic adventure figures around that could be interesting.

As for clothing, all I have really come across is football shirts and the towel and shorts sets...no real interest in the football shirts but will probably grab the towel and shorts sometime.

Think it's gonna be hard to beat the Dreamcast watches though..they reallt are nice!!! Smile

I got myself an old school Sonic the Hedgehog bank not to long ago. The thing can't hold 1/4 the change I got laying around, but it still kicks ass to me....

As part of a monthly competition the Planet ring game was supposed to give out free mics and PLanet ring T shirts. I never knew of anyone who got a planet ring T shirt Ive never even seen a picture of one. Now I think that would be a real RARE piece to find Very Happy may even have to compete myself Laughing There are a few people about who played planet ring in various locations (not here) I guess you could put out a few feelers see if anyone ever knew anyone who had one etc etc.

I have a Sega bass fishing card competition has a nice picture and came from Harry ramsdens. You can have it if I can find it Mr. Green

Hey,

Yeah, I remeber you saying about those T-shirts before..bet that would be quite a find...never know, one might pop up one day, but as Vicky was Number 1 for an eternity without ever requesting the T-shirt there may be none in circulation...lol...tell her off for me will ya...lol

Whats that about a sega bass fishing competiiton card? Can't recall any mention of this before?

Well yeh Vic was no 1 for ages on Planet ring only though so could have been claimed for other games Very Happy

The Sega bass fishing card is a piece of card with a Sega bass fishing picture of some kind on one side then the comp details on the back. Its a bit bigger than a postcard and was in very good condition. Like I said I have to find it though Laughing

Yeah, I have to say it gets nicer the more I look at it I think..it solid metal as well and pretty heavy. Not exactly the best design in the world though, you have to reach right round to the back to switch off the alarm...nothing on the top...quite an odd design.

Like I say, I had never seen one of these anywhere before...it popped up on ebay and thats the first I ever saw of it...it was apparently given to people who attended a UK launch event
