After discussion last night at the maximum pool anniversary I though it was a good idea to remind onlineconsoles users of this website.

For newer members PBA 2001 is a game that never got an official release on Dreamcast and is only available by download. When leaked the game was found to still be online as it shared the PC servers. Later the game developers removed the part of the online structure that allowed Dreamcast to play online. Games can still be made by a Dreamcast but cannot be joined by another Dreamcast even though they can be seen.

yes its based on the PC release.

"The main reason for this is that the Dreamcast version of the game was never officially released, which has left Dreamcast players unable to find information on the game.  Despite the fact that the information provided here is based on the PC manual it should still give a good idea on how the game works"
