On 9/9/2008 (we'll ignore that Very Happy), the Dreamcast turns 9. While not the big 10 the Japanese Dreamcast is celebrating this year, it's still pretty cool.

Any plans to celebrate? I've been listening to a lot more Dreamcast soundtracks this week.

Happy early Birthday Dreamcast! We love you. I recently bought you some gifts, remember unreal tournament. Yummy yummy. Oh and next year since you're hitting double digits, you can have a real copy of Ikaruga or Rez.

I'm probably gonna start playing through Shenmue again, since I have yet to beat it.

I even have time to play it tonight, I have very little homework tonight Smile

I hate to say this, but I think the North American's Dreamcast Launch day, is sort of the unnofficial birthday for the system regardless of region, because of the 9/9/99 significance. If you really think about it, the Dreamcast is the only video game system that gets a Happy Birthday every single year on websites across the internet. I think this is pretty cool Wink

Happy Birthday, Dreamcast!

To celebrate, I've been playing some of my DC games, like Jet Grind Radio! What a great game that still is (and always will be)!
