I feel like one of the only people who is glad this game wasn't released. I don't feel like it would have been very good based on what I've seen. I am glad they waited until Dreamcast to put sonic in 3D because something like this would have just seemed lacking. Not to mention people would have been bitching about how there still wasn't a real 3D sonic game.

There was a tech demo with a very basic sonic level running on the NiGHTS engine (seems that was the only 3D engine that showed promise Rolling Eyes ) and sonic jam had a pretty solid 3D engine for the "Sonic World." 3D sonic could have been done but I feel it would have been outdone by the likes of Mario 64 in just about every way, yes probably even fanboyism.
